PREVENTION FOR CHILDREN

MILK TEETH AND TRANSITIONING TO PERMANENT TEETH –
INTENSIVE SUPPORT FOR YOUNG PATIENTS

The foundations for dental health later in life are laid in childhood. Milk teeth that have been well taken care of are the prerequisite for normal jaw development, speech acquisition and a healthy set of teeth for life. We take ample time to thoroughly examine your child’s teeth. Education about proper dental care and nutrition is naturally part of this. We teach this knowledge in a playful way so that your child enjoys coming to us and gradually learns what they can do themselves to keep their teeth healthy.

TOOTH DECAY DOESN’T STAND A CHANCE!

Dental health starts with even the youngest children: from six months of age, when the first milk teeth come through, we offer early detection examinations in a relaxed atmosphere. From the age of six, your child’s statutory health insurance will cover two check-up appointments per year. From the age of six to twelve, permanent teeth replace milk teeth – the risk of tooth decay is particularly high shortly after this point, which is why we provide intensive support for you and your children. If necessary, we fluoridate the teeth to augment the children’s enamel. We also keep an eye on the condition of gums and any misaligned teeth.
