The most common disease of the gums is periodontitis, also called paradontosis. Bacteria get into the gums and the periodontium and cause chronic inflammation. As a result, the bone and, to some extent, the gums gradually recede until the teeth become loose, move or even fall out. Therefore, the periodontitis has to be stopped. How we treat it depends upon the severity and progress of the disease. We also insert an antibiotic-free medication into the periodontal pockets to disinfect them. Once the inflammation has been stopped, additional inflammation and a further flare-up of the disease must be prevented: We will create an individual, comprehensive control and dental cleaning concept for you. By using holistic treatment approaches in combination with careful dental care at home, we can bring periodontitis to a halt together.
